General TL;DR: I'm a Worms newfag, a furry and most likely neurotypical contrary to what you might think of me. Jesus Christ, how horrifying.

Why?

TL;DR: it's kinda like a judgement-free zone if there's no way to talk here + sites have varying restrictions.

I'm a freak. I don't really want to hurt anyone, I just want to express my interests and share what I enjoy making, but when I open up, people mistreat me, even on sites with explicit art. Just because I remain silent after one calls me "fucked up in the head" doesn't mean I'm fine with it. Even Inkbunny, the most tolerant furry website I know of, has a few assholes. Is there an unwritten rule that Worms is sacred? Why are ADULTS so overprotective over Worms? That's the kind of behaviour I'd expect from children or teenagers who haven't yet learned that sometimes they'll see things they don't personally like and they just have to ignore it and move on. Blocking and blacklists exist too. Believe me, there ARE some things I find disturbing, annoying, bizarre to the point of being mildly uncomfortable or just "bleh" even in art, and such things aren't even necessarily NSFW, but I won't tell you which so you don't use that knowledge against me.

If we talk practical sense, I redirect my censored Pixiv Worms submissions to the uncensored images posted here (also to my IB but it's for logged users only). There's a Japanese law that prohibits domestic distribution of pornography. If you post uncensored genitals or penetration on Pixiv, they will probably get privated and you will be told to reupload it censored. The pixelation and black stripes may look stupid and useless, but that's how things work over there.

In the best case scenario, I would've liked to make a Worms themed Booru, or if somebody else made one, but I can only dream, I guess.

Also I wanted my galleries to have a different format, but... it just didn't work out.

Do you actually find worms... you know...?

No, but they are goofy, expressive and cute IMO (this mostly applies to mainline 3D worms). I thought of trying to draw R34 of them one day, and things kind of... escalated. I dunno, it's fun for me to imagine them doing certain things they'll never do. It's really useful to be an artist because this means you can draw what you want to see and not bother anyone with requests/art-trades/commissions, bonus points if it's something niche that AI can't replicate. What are the odds someone would agree to draw Worms NSFW?

Why don't you post your stuff to a site dedicated to Rule 34, like rule34.xxx?

I've seen rule34.xxx and rule34.paheal.net. I'm not saying that people should kiss each other's asses, but some of those users are really rude and the staff doesn't do anything about it. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. A specific occasion: if you think someone draws "bad anatomy", do you really expect the artist to improve if you just bitch about it, especially on a site they may not even know about? What kind of logic is that? Another specific occasion: people bitching about things they don't like instead of silently blacklisting the corresponding tag.

Are you autistic?

I don't think I am? But I can't remember if I ever visited a mental health specialist. I react to calls by my name, I'm not bothered by food texture (I'm a picky eater though but that's another thing), I don't stim, I'm fine with pretty much any cloth except itchy stuff, I also don't like nylon tights but that's a different story. I still thought I'd do the RAADS–R test oneday, but I didn't quite understand a lot of questions. My score was around the number next to "Some autistic traits, but likely not autistic", most points were for "social relatedness", but it's probably just me being introverted and lacking proper communication. I don't take this stuff that seriously. Even when I play Worms games with other people and use my headset, I don't talk much. In real life, I have no friends and I rarely talk to anyone outside my family. Also I hit my head pretty hard as a child once but I don't think that had any influence on my mental development... In any case, "autist" is not a synonym for "idiot" or the like and shouldn't be treated as such.

The only things I recall being diagnosed with are... scoliosis, myopia and caries. What, is that not what you expected to hear?

Why are there so many female worms with blue hair?

They're based on my oldest team I made in WUM which I got attached to. The hairstyle is cute (although the model is admittedly low-poly for today) and blue is my favourite colour. There may be a lot of them in my art, but I usually prefer male smut. The male worms with pink heart caps are also based on a team of mine that I like.

However I installed the Renewation mod later which replaced the blue hair and pink cap with other "hats". The game works in such a way that if you want a custom accessory you have to replace an existing one. Seeing that, I made a couple more teams as a "substitute", one with black beanies (one of the mod accessories) and another with blonde hair and moustaches (kinda like femboys but not shaved).

also the "Bring it on" animation is kinda hot

You seem to draw a lot of diapers, are you an AB/DL?

No. I don't actually act upon any fetish themes I draw.

When did you start playing Worms games?

February 2023.

A friend suggested me to try Worms: Ultimate Mayhem, he had Worms 4: Mayhem as a kid. The Mayhem design of worms quickly became my favourite, the G4 soldier and scout ones would follow very close after I found those games existed. Worms W.M.D was my first 2D game.

So yeah, it feels like I'm one of those rare people who never played any Worms before they grew up. Reading about when others started playing, they usually say they were kids back then. I'm a Windows 98 / XP child and I probably could've had and anjoyed Worms games back then if my parents hadn't had a bias against war games for girls. Likely for this reason I never played first person shooters until adulthood, and even when I tried a few the only one I liked was Team Fortress 2, everything else is too serious and/or hard.

What programs do you draw in?

Usually MyPaint, Macromedia Flash 8/Adobe Animate (these are essentially the same program but with a large time gap, .FLA files made in Flash are compatible with Animate but not vice versa), Adobe Photoshop 2020. I can make minor edits (like cropping and blurring) in paint.net, as well as draw but that's rare. I did one simple pic in Adobe Illustrator 2020. I know some more programs but I decided to name only the ones relevant to this site.

What's that favicon?

It's a midblink frame of a worm wiggling his eyebrows at the player at a turn's start in WUM.

Here's a cropped and colour-adjusted image I made before cropping it more.

Are you a furry? Is your fursona a goat worm?

I consider myself a furry, but I just think cartoony creatures are more fun to look at than people, I don't have a fursuit and don't attend any furry gatherings. I came up with an original species based on canids and goats and made a fursona out of that (well, mammalian species are kinda uncreative, but w/e), that is my main sona. Then I made a wormsona with her features.

You mentioned AI generated images, what is your stance?

I'm cool with it when it's not used commercially, not posted to ACTUAL art websites, not claimed to be made by the uploader ("Wow, you know English and you can type. In the XXIst century. How impressive.")... oh, who am I kidding, people are stupid, they will do everything wrong with AI...

I played around with AI image generation long ago, but I was never really excited about it (especially because I was mostly familiar with DALLE Mini)... until someone shared AI-generated worms oneday that actually looked like the Team17 ones. No base model can generate that on its own, it was done with a LoRA. This led to me joining Civitai and using its user-friendly trainer to make multiple Worms LoRAs. Training LoRAs on site requires a lot of virtual currency called Buzz (at least 500 per LoRA). I never put real money into the website, I just grind whatever Buzz I can get for free. I can also save Buzz and actually observe the generation process with the local generator Fooocus, though it only supports SDXL and its forks.

I don't make any profit from AI generated stuff. If you think I'm going to do that - go to hell. Don't just throw bold accusations around with no proof. I despise people with such mindset too.
